Dear Jets Families, 

We are nearing the final stretch of the Summer 24/25 season, with the last round scheduled for the weekend of 22nd March.  

Semi-finals will take place on the weekend of 29th March and grand finals will be held on the weekend of 5th April. That’s right — this season, the grand final will take place the day after the school term has ended.

Players must have played in 7 games this season to qualify for finals. You can check the total of games played on the My Hoops app, or if you’re unsure, ask your team manager. 

For children in the Under 8’s Broadmeadows competition, there are no finals. The final round for Under 8’s is on the 29th of March.  

Finals are an exciting part of the basketball season, and we want to make sure they’re memorable for all the right reasons. Let’s all remember to stay positive, supportive, and respectful to coaches, referees, and players. Keep in mind, these are young athletes, playing their game, coaches are volunteers, referees are human, and above all, this is for FUN!
